The Washington University Equity and Inclusion Council (WUEIC) is a representative body of students, staff, and faculty from across all corners of the university. Our charge — indeed the reason for our creation — is to keep WashU aligned with and accountable to our institutional commitments to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Read more about our mandate and vision.

Meet the council

WUEIC is made up of representatives from all seven schools and a variety of administrative units. Students, staff, faculty, and university leadership all work together. Chances are you probably know at least one person who currently serves on the council.

Join us in the work

WUEIC opens applications each spring for new members to join. Even if it’s outside the application cycle, we encourage you to reach out and get involved in some of our other efforts.
