Though a number of seats are position-based, the council accepts nominations and applications for member-at-large positions on an annual basis. When applications open, we will share that link here. But there are other ways to be involved.

Reach out to a council member.

If you have ideas or thoughts about what else the council can do to further its goal of creating sustainable and transformational systemic change, or if you’re simply curious about what council members are working on and have interest in meeting for an informal, informational interview, please fill out this contact form or reach out to a council member directly.

Share a WashU EDI success story.

All across the WashU community, staff, faculty, and students are working to make the university a more equitable and inclusive place. While every effort and process improvement may not make headlines, we want to share stories of success to inspire others and show what even small changes can do.

Join the council.

Each spring, we open applications for new members.
